Vaibhav Agarwal

“I get outraged but I never thought of taking any action. But something spurred inside me the day I started the EPF Petition. Thanks to your support we were able to get the Government to listen to the voice of the common man on an important issue.”

When the Finance Minister announced his proposal to tax Employee Provident Funds, Vaibhav Agarwal a young Chartered Accountant knew that he couldn’t stay silent this time. The proposal was a big hit to India’s salaried middle-class and took away one of the few tax-reliefs offered to them.

He started a petition on asking the Finance Minister to withdraw the proposal. Indians across the country united behind Vaibhav’s petition and signed it to show their opposition to the proposal.
